The Woman
Riza Hawkeye is the queen piece in Roy Mustangs group of trusted underlings. She's a First Lieutenant and sharp shooter extrodinaire - able to hit targets with deadly accuracy from any range, reload guns with astonishing speed and lug around heavy artillery. She is a capable fighter and an astute individual with sharp inelligence and a calm demeanor.
As well as being an irreplacable asset to Roy's team she also takes on the role of administrative assistant and secretary to the Colonol. Her impeccable organisation skills make her adept at handling paper work, and her strict personality helps keep the lazy Colonol in line. She often states that it is hectic to look after him because he will slack off, frequently acting as if the superior of the two by forcing him to work and ordering him around when he acts foolishly.
Although at the start of the series she comes off as another military grunt, Riza's character quickly grows to one of suprising depths. Many a secret lies hidden in her past and her relationship with the Colonol. She surprises us time and again with the true warmth and compassion hidden beneath the depths of her cool disposition.
She fights for what she belives in, constantly putting others before herself and trying more than anyone to make the world a better place.
